Mark your calendars for Sunday, Nov. 8, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. as the 11th Annual Kosher Nashville Hot Chicken & Jewish Arts & Music Festival returns to the outdoor field at the Gordon Jewish Community Center.
Join the Nashville community for an afternoon of spice, music, art and fun for all ages. The Gordon JCC is proud to serve as a sponsor of this unique Nashville celebration, which is free and open to people of all backgrounds.
Local cooking teams will put their own spin on Nashville’s legendary hot chicken, with tasting tickets available to purchase throughout the afternoon. While the competition heats up, guests can enjoy live Jewish music, explore booths featuring Judaica and other handmade items, and participate in activities for the whole family.
This year’s musical lineup will include Golem and Nashville country singer and songwriter Alexis “Lexi” Tischler. Their performances will bring plenty of energy and heart to the festival stage. Whether you come for the chicken, the music, the art or the opportunity to connect with the community, this annual spicy festival is sure to be one of the most exciting yet.
Want to start the fun a little early? The weekend will also include a special comedy performance featuring Ester Steinberg on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Gordon JCC. Tickets for the comedy show will be $15.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, and there are still spaces for those interested in entering a hot chicken team. Visit the festival website to learn more about getting involved.
