Alpha Epsilon Pi at Vanderbilt University has been named the Interfraternity Council's 2026 Chapter of the Year.
At the international Jewish fraternity's annual convention in Phoenix in August, the chapter was also named Most Outstanding Colony and approved to recharter, with a Nashville ceremony planned for next spring.
It is the second consecutive year the chapter has received a major Vanderbilt IFC award. In 2025, it was recognized for its community service and philanthropy programming.
Members hosted a fundraiser this spring for the Gift of Life bone marrow registry and participated in the Rohr Chabad House student seder held at Vanderbilt's football stadium.
The chapter's 34 members earned a combined 3.56 grade-point average during the spring semester. Fifteen members represented the chapter at an AEPi regional event in Blacksburg, Virginia, last semester, and four members attended the fraternity's international convention.
The chapter has begun its 2026-27 rush program. Those who know Jewish male students who will be first-year students at Vanderbilt or other colleges and are interested in joining the fraternity may send names and contact information to chapter adviser Ivan Aronin at ivanjaronin@yahoo.com.
