Nashville Holocaust Memorial 20th Anniversary Commemoration
Sunday, October 25, 2026, 2 p.m.
The Nashville Holocaust Memorial (NHM) Committee invites the community to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its founding. As a living memorial for future generations, NHM provides an outdoor space to remember, learn, and act. The event will remember the volunteers who created the memorial and honor the efforts of Shirley Zeitlin. Participants will learn about survivor, Dr. Mark Olsky, who was born on a train during the evacuation of Auschwitz at the end of World War II. Memorial Committee Chair, Felicia Anchor, will share the actions the Memorial is taking to fight antisemitism.
Tours led by the memorial’s trained docents will be offered an hour before the ceremony. Registration is free and will open October 1st. Email nashvilleholocaustmemorial@gmail.com for questions or to volunteer.

Group of Jewish widowers and widows who have lost his/her spouse recently or in the distant past. This is not a dating service or a counselling or a meet/meat group, but it is a group of adult individuals who are interested in doing things with a group of people who have been through a similar loss as opposed to doing things by him/herself. We meet for lunch on the 2nd Friday of each month at various restaurants.
