Jewish Federation CEO Joins Leadership Nashville's 50th Class

A familiar name is among the more than 40 individuals selected for this year’s Leadership Nashville’s upcoming class. Jewish Federation of Greater Nashville CEO Judy Alperin joins the 50th class.

I am beyond excited to be part of the Leadership Nashville cohort and look forward to what I know will be an invaluable experience for me,” Alperin said. “This will create many opportunities to strengthen our community and its place within the broader Nashville community.”

The program's Executive Director Evette White credits their success the past 49 years to the diverse leadership experience of its participants.

“Selection for each carefully curated class is difficult because of the large number of very qualified applicants,” White stated.

Those selected for this class were chosen from over 300 applications. The selection process takes place each spring. Nominations come in year round for established leaders who are willing to devote the time and effort to an in-depth study of Metro Nashville Davidson County.

The course begins in September and focuses on city history and current issues related to government & media, diversity, business, education, quality of life, health, arts & entertainment and public safety.
