Members of B’nai Tzedek gathered for their annual meeting and bash this summer. The evening was a blend of meaningful decision-making and high-energy fun.
The meeting marked the official welcome of new board members Anna Brook, Yael Cohen, Essie Boehler, Blake Resnick, Yael Coleman, Abi Kullock, Sam Workman, and Evan Zagnoev.
The organization also recognized graduating seniors Micah Rosenbloom, Amari Schneider and Ilana Hanai, as they embark on their next chapters.
The board then led a productive annual meeting. Rooted deeply in Jewish values, the teens engaged in a thoughtful review of various Jewish organizations. After a group vote, members selected the Jewish Adoptions and Family Care Options (JAFCO) organization as the recipient of this year's annual gift.
After the meeting concluded, attendees sported their commemorative B’nai Tzedek socks and hit the skating rink for an evening of recreation and connection. The event provided an opportunity for members to build relationships and strengthen community connections.
Looking ahead, B’nai Tzedek will introduce a new format for its annual welcome event. Instead of hosting the traditional August pool party, the organization plans to hold a fall welcome event in October. Additional details to be announced soon.
