The Gordon Jewish Community Center has announced a new date for its annual fundraiser, Big Night Out, after February’s severe ice storm forced the organization to postpone the event.
Originally scheduled during the week of the storm, the celebration was delayed due to hazardous weather conditions and facility impacts that made gathering safely impossible. The event will now take place on Sunday, April 19, giving the community an opportunity to come together later this spring.
Big Night Out is one of the J’s signature annual events, bringing together members, supporters, and friends of the organization for an evening centered on community connection and philanthropic support. This year’s theme, Jukebox Journey: Dancing Through the Decades, will highlight music and memories from across generations while supporting the J’s programs and services.
Proceeds from the event benefit a wide range of Gordon JCC initiatives, including early childhood education, wellness and fitness programming, cultural events, and community engagement opportunities serving families throughout Nashville.
Tickets are now available and may be purchased online at nashvillejcc.org/bignightout, or by contacting
Marilyn Rubin at marilyn@nashvillejcc.org for additional information.
The rescheduled event will offer the community an opportunity to gather, celebrate, and support the
Gordon JCC’s ongoing mission this spring.
