B'nai Miztvah January 2026

Julia Fischer Shillington will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, January 10, at 9:15 a.m. at Congregation Micah. She was born on April 25, 2013, in Nashville. Her parents are Vivian Fischer and Scott Shillington. Her grandparents are Bonnie and Doug Shillington of Vernon, Canada;, Marianne Fischer of São Paulo, Brazil, and Ruy Fischer of blessed memory. 

A seventh grader at Grassland Middle School, Julia loves tap dance, jazz dance, listening to music, baking, traveling, reading and being with friends and family. 

 

Kyle Horowitz will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, January 31, at 10:30 a.m., at Congregation Micah. She is the child of Marc and Jackie Horowitz, the sister of Peyton Horowitz, and the granddaughter of Shelly and Judy Horowitz of Florida, and Mary Acquah  of Ghana, and  Appiah Boahine 

seventh grader at Spring Station Middle School, Kyle has a passion for theater, skyline photography, and track. She also enjoys reading, science and math.
