Anabel Hollis will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at The Temple. She was born June 8, 2009, in Gallatin, Tenn., to Ashley and Jeff Hollis. Her grandparents are Linda and Gary Johnson of Maryville, Tenn., and Lane and Joe Hollis of Fernandina Beach, Fla. A seventh-grader at Station Camp Middle School, Anabel enjoys crocheting, painting, aerial silks, dancing, and playing the piano. For Anabel’s mitzvah project, she’s crocheting hats for the newborn babies at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.
